Jeff Beer (Ger) Studied composition and percussion at the Academy of Music in Wurzburg. Received many awards, for instance: special prize at the international competition for contemporary music Radio France; Bavarian national prize 1985; 1'° prize Deutscher Musikwettbewerb, Bonn; Studienstiftung des Deutsches Volkes; scholarship grant at the Cité Internationale des Artes in Paris, and others. Has performed as a soloist in Berlin, Basil, Stockholm, New York, Madrid, Koln, Chicago and elsewhere. Workshop subjects: developtment of percussion instruments, solo repertoire, construction of percussíon instruments, new instruments, analysis of own compositions.
