	 This summer course is designed  for students (or graduates)  of composition and composers specifically interested in composition for percussion ínstruments and percussion players.  The course is open to students of conservatories and music academies, as well as mature high-school students and interested members of the public.

	Date:  July 2 – July 9  2023 
	Place: Music Centre Haus Urban Trstěnice (near the cities Litomyšl and Svitavy), Czech Republic 
	Course Fee: 280 Euro / (special discount for participants from the CEEC countries) 
	(incl: accommodations, all meals from dinner July 2 to breakfast July 9 and course fee) 
to be paid on the spot during course registration.  
 
 
	
	The purpose of the course is: 
  for performers: / 
 for composers: 
- discussion of individual works with experienced authors and performers,   presentation of selected compositions by instructors and more experienced   participants       
- greater familiarity with notational problems and specific compositional techniques   relating to solo and ensemble literature for untraditional percussion instruments   
- opportunity to experiment with the various possible timbres of different instruments - application of compositional skills in cooperation with instructors of percussion and   composition, with a focus on concert performance
Will you take your own compositions (not only for percussions) for the presentation 
 of yourself and for the individual lessons (scores and recordings).
